We went with our new friends from the philippi branch (church). We could not miss the county fair with it's derby
(V8 cars and trucks), animals, hog weigh in and MUCH MUCH more with all walks of life coming out of the wood work. If i could have taken a picture for future generations i would have of a women with a she-mullet down to her butt, a see threw tank top without a bra (she was like 60) with stretch pants that were jean material...

Ann loved the animals!!! When we went into the barn we looked at all the cows and i said Ann it's a cow. A cow says Moo. Than right after i said that the cow moo-ed a super loud moo and she was SOOO excited! She moo-ed and moo-ed again! It was like all the books of animal sound were coming to life and she REALLY got it!
She loved the animals so much she was so sad to leave them! Needless to say we spent a lot of time at the barn. She loved the cows and sheep. The pigs she didn't want any part of. I don't blame her they we so big and smelly and a little ugly :-)
It was a trip to go to the fair. i decided i think next year i am going to enter something for sewing!
Oh, that's so cute that Ann was able to make the connection between her books and real farm animals! I hope you do enter some of your sewing creations next year, you'll definitely win!
